Art Nouveau Drawer Handle: First Cast

This is a first cast of a carved drawer handle I’ve been working on. This translucent green resin cast has some flaws – the surface is still sticky for reasons unclear to me, and there are a few bubbles/incomplete areas of the cast. I’m looking forward to future versions of this organic, elegant piece. I will send shots of the next cast attached to a drawer, but for scale reference this piece is about 4″ wide by 1″ deep by 2″ tall. I do intend to cast them in metal in the future as well.
